This is more than a Christmas tree farm. This is a labor of love that's been grown from the ground up.
DePuy's Trees is locally owned and operated, founded on family values and a simple goal: to cultivate the very best Christmas trees and deliver superior service for our community.
Our story truly starts in 1985, when Jerry and Bonnie Grzenda began their tree farm on a small plot of land, with the dream to transform the empty fields into a natural sanctuary. Over those decades, their operation grew into a Christmas time staple in Livingston County. After 40 years of farming and with torch-passing becoming a more welcome thought, it was a serendipitous reunion that brought Pat and Jerry together. Learning all he could along the way from wise mentors, Pat DePuy fell in love with the tree life, and resolved to carry on this legacy for 40 more years.
With another decade of learning, planting, and lots of sweat, the dream now grows with a new name. DePuy's Trees sits on over 26 acres of planted Christmas Trees and wildlife habitat, with over 9,000 trees consistently maintained (and growing!) - for every tree cut, at least one is replanted each spring to replace it.
Blessed with the support of their wonderful community and customers, Pat and his family-focused team continue to grow and improve their offerings.
Pat, Allie, Cindy, Annie and the team at DePuy's Trees are proud to celebrate the 2026 grand opening of all-new fields, customer parking and sales area, and they welcome you to visit the farm for the first time or as an old friend.
"We had an absolutely AMAZING tree this past year from DePuy's Trees!! It lasted a total of 76 days and I mean like seriously barely any needle drop it was incredible and beautiful. We cut it down black friday and removed it the week of Valentine's day! This is the longest tree we've ever had and that is why we kept it up so long! My family cannot WAIT to return. Thank you again DePuy's!🎄🎅" - Sarah T.
"This is a great place to get a tree! Pat is super nice and the prices are reasonable. This year I was late getting a tree, but Pat kept the place open until I got there and then he went with me to help cut the tree down in the dark. This place knows how to treat their customers, even us late ones. Get your tree here, you'll be glad that you did!" - Kevin B.
"Been going here for years and the new owner who worked here all that time has done a great job taking over the business! Great friendly help that do a great job getting people into the fields and back to their new building to load up. Definitely make DePuy's Trees your place to make holiday memories the place to go for your Christmas Trees." - Jerry L
"Thank you so much for such a fun tree experience!!! We had a blast. We got a beautiful tree with plenty of girth. We got almost all of our ornaments on it! Lol We'll be back next year!" - Susan D.
"We've been going here for the past two years and amazing experiences both times. Cutting your own tree really adds to the magic of the Christmas tree experience. The staff are all great and go above and beyond to be friendly and helpful with finding the perfect tree. Never felt rushed and the prices were in line with what I expected. They offer rides into the fields to get the trees and saws to cut the trees. We got stuck at one point cutting the tree and the staff were super helpful. Definitely a new family tradition." - Matt P.
